AMARONEInside every bottle of Tenuta Sant’Antonio Amarone there is a lot more than just four different varieties of grapes. There is the pride we take in producing such an important wine, in searching for comparisons and opinions: to spur us on to do better. Always.
To achieve this, we have added Lilium to our Amarone Selezione Antonio Castagnedi and Il Campo dei Gigli. After years of hard work, the latest addition to the family has come of age.
GREAT REDSGreat reds are synonymous with traditional, easily recognisable and classic wines. They are wines with a history, rooted in the culture of their local area and the people who live there.
Cabernet Sauvignon Capitel del Monte and Valpolicella Superiore La Bandina embody these qualities but have something more. Combining innovation with tradition is our philosophy: the great reds of the Valpolicella are no exception.
SUPERIOR CLASSICSValpolicella Superiore Ripasso is a match made in heaven between Valpolicella Giovane and Amarone pomace.
It was our ancestors who, in their pursuit of fine wines, pioneered the Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso method, which has been handed down and is embodied in our Monti Garbi. Soave Monte Ceriani is always different but, by the same token, unique. It is obtained from 100% Garganega grapes. Another wine which deserves a mention is Soave Vecchie Vigne, aged in barrels, one of its kind from a small vineyard whose vines are more than thirty years old.
YOUNG CLASSICSGood earth bears good fruits.
Every vintage of Soave Fontana, which is best enjoyed young, has its own distinctive features, just like the seasons which come around year after year: always the same, yet always different.
Valpolicella Nanfrè represents the very essence of our history: quality.
OUR INTERPRETATIONSOur Scaia wines are produced with the typical local grapes but that extra touch of imagination and care give them a modern take on an age-old tradition.
Scaia Garganega Chardonnay: pleasantly light, in a class of its own, like its heritage. Scaia Corvina: the young offspring of a great grape, 100% Corvina, celebrated mother of the Valpolicella. Scaia Rosato: 100% Rondinella for a unique, unmistakable Tenuta Sant’Antonio rosé.
SPONSÀSponsà means “rested” and, as we all know, rest is essential for good grapes.
This wine is a blend of the best fresh grapes from the Valpolicella and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and is aged in a harmonious mixture of tonneaux and steel for a superior wine.
TÉLOSWhen a winery has a history of making wine, when it is committed to experimenting and does its very best to make its production process more honest and healthier, it’s good to go back to our roots.
It almost becomes our duty to draw on our experience and come up with modern, more natural wines. Télos Il bianco (white) and Télos Il Rosso (red) are produced with no added sulphites, following a strict innovative production methodology and integrated farming techniques. It just shows that it is possible to be great without adding anything.
SWEET WINESThink intensely, meditate absorbed, converse pleasantly, savour sweetly. Become intoxicated with chocolate with all its percentages of cocoa. Capture the slight spicy nuances of mature cheeses. Try out daring associations with what you enjoy most.
Simply: invent endless occasions to enjoy Recioto della Valpolicella Argille Bianche and Passito Colori d’Autunno.
GRAPPASThese superior distillates are produced using the finest grapes and Amarone pomace.
Our passion for lovingly making grappa for those who know how to savour it wisely and sparingly, is an age-old tradition which we dedicate to those who appreciate the value of a distillate.
